My General Update: A 4-star?
I’m having a good day. No particular reason, other than I want to, I guess.
My server issues are still there. They finally acknowledged that there was something wrong–unfortunately, that in and of itself was a battle. It’s “supposed to be fixed the beginning of the week.” Which I don’t believe. But I’m starting to care a lot less, now. I’m testing out a new server that got good reviews and always the optimist, am remaining hopeful that will be a good answer for me. Rather than push, push, push to switch over like I did last time, I’ve decided a slower, more leisurely testing period is quite in order. It’s worth the extra few dollars a month it’s costing to not be stressed over it.Â
I did have incident to contact support at the new host last night. The problem was resolved by this morning, and the email was courteous. So far, so good.
Kidlet just left a bit ago to visit her boyfriend. (”Don’t call him ‘Mr. Romeo,’ Mom!”) I ask his secret–somehow, he can get her to get up before noon, clean her room, shower and drive places hereself, whereas I have trouble even achieving the first of these outcomes.
“You don’t want to know, mom.” I consider that a word to the wise, and don’t pursue the topic. Seventeen is seventeen, after all.
Anyway, I did some work today, and will probably knock off here pretty soon. Listen to some happy, uplifting stuff of one sort or another. Hubby was annoyed with himself because he fell asleep last night during the “Ways for the World to End” disaster-fest TV show. Somtimes it cracks me up how different we can be about some things.
Anywho, that’s today. Hope your day is going well, too.
