• monitoring the weekend

    busy, kinda odd weekend.

my monitor was going out. not in a clear, definitive, assertive way. in a wussy, annoying, half-assed way. the colors had started washing out. i had the brightness on 0 eventually, but it only helped a little. there were little green lines every couple of inches horizontally on the screen. which i had gotten used to until the new issue: part of the time, it would just go fuzzy. the images and text would blur. at first, it would be barely perceptible, but within a minute, it would be too fuzzy to read. it felt like i had something wrong with my eyes. turning it off and on helped, but it was doing it more and more and it was frustrating. like every couple of minutes, it was too blurry to read. aghhh!

i read the reviews, picked out a montior and comparison shopped. of course, the good-deal-highly-rated-great-priced monitor was out of stock everywhere short of topeka…and my tire was shot so i was best off not running up there. but we were going to visit a buddy in emporia in the hubby’s car, so we swung through on the way out and got my montior. (i LOVE it, by the way)!

had a nice visit. got my tire fixed tonight, and shopped, and other stuff. which ok, it helped with my stress levels to get some stuff out of the way. but it was a busy, kinda odd weekend is all.

and that’s all i feel like typing about it.

except i LOVE my montior. :)  the colors are so bright and vivid, everything looks like i’m seeing it for the first time. it’s cool and it will make my work much easier, too.

    peace out, kiddos.
