getting your psd and pdf thumbnails back!

for folks who work with pdf, psd and other adobe-software-generated files: getting those thumbnail views back - if you miss the thumbnail preview on adoble files (photoshop, illustrator, pdf, etc), here’s how to fix it. if you don’t know what i’m talking about, please feel free to ignore.

newer adobe software changed things so that if you had a thumbnail view of these files in windows, it gave you a standard icon. before, you’d see a snapshot of the file. for somebody who works with a lot of these type of files, being able to see a snapshot of the acutal content saves hours of time over the course of working with files.
