My husband sounds congested. “You all sinusy?” I ask.
“Sinusy? That’s a word?”
“It is. I just made it up….that’s one of my Goddess Powers, you know. I have the power to make up new words! Yeah!”
He shakes his head. “George Bush has the same power,” he says.
“Owwww! That really hurts. It is NOT the same power, anyway. It’s not the same power at all! Because I know I’m making up new words, and they make sense. He’s just a dumbass. He has the power of the dumbass, and that’s all. Not the same thing at all.”
I was appropriately offended. Geez. Somebody should tell him, comparing your wife to W. is never a good idea.
