Hello, dixiblog readers. I am still around and I haven’t abandoned the homestead. Instead, I’ve been focusing a lot on my work, and my life.

 There are client projects, always. However, I’ve decided to raise my rates, so that will do one of two things:

• Convince a few to move elsewhere, without hurting my income
• More likely, improve my mood when I am working on client projects.

See, in the past, I’ve never had anybody bolt that I can recall when I raise my rates. So we’ll see. There is one client I have that is going to see a BIG jump, so they may well bail. However, because they are rather high-maintenence, I don’t see that as a big loss. And if they don’t, then I will be getting compensated more appropriately for ‘em anywho.

Mostly, though, I’ve been working a lot on LCE, where I’ve taken over the administration. If all goes well, I may end up buying the domain to own the site eventually. But I’m learning lots of new, geeky stuff and find it all very stimulating. So despite the fact it’s a lot of work, I’m glad about it.  I was getting tired of what I was doing before, so you know. New projects, new challenges. It’s all good.

And that’s true, really. It’s all good.
