Ok, yesterday I got that new mp3 player I was excited about. It looked great and I plugged it in for the suggested SIX HOURS to charge!
 The fact of the matter is that I just can’t get it to work right. Today, the computer isn’t “seeing it,” the thing doesn’t appear to be charging, and, outside of about an hour last night, I haven’t been able to get it to stay on and play.
Ugh.
 So I contacted the ebay seller and am returning it. I think I’ll just get me a real ipod and put up with the itunes.

If it’s any consolation, we gave up and went with iPods this year and they do work extremely well. Despite the drawbacks, there is a good reason they sell well. I hate the iTunes thing, too.
yeah…i have a samsung player that i like, but for the little shuffles, i just like the design a lot. it’s so tiny and the clip is so convienent…chip was suggesting i get wireless headphones for my cell phone like he has, since that’s a stereo mp3 player as well, but i really want one of the shuffles, so i guess i’ll have to deal with itunes if i want one.
