• tips for time lapse photography

    I can’t really post my roses opening video online because I can’t get it to compress enough and it’s not that good yet. but i did learn a few things…

    •  zoom in…make sure you already have the shot framed that you want before you take the pix.
    • reduce your camera’s resolution. a few hundred 6-mexapixel pictures are HARD to compress enough to put on a website.
    • roses open SLOWLY. one pic every 5 minutes is much too fast.
    • tripods rule.

    been reading some online tips and will try again with some other fun photo stuff…
