Registration
Regular readers are welcome to register. Registered users get to see private posts, not visible to the public at large.
Private posts tend to be more about my personal life and family than anything else, and I suspect will be of limited interest to people only know me in the context of dixiblog. However, it’s your time and your dime, so register away if you’re so inclined.
The other benefits of registering: you can comment without re-typing your information and can upload a small avatar. Also, you automagically become “one of the cool kids.” It’s very heady.
While anyone can register, you CANNOT see private posts until I manually up your access level. If I have any reason to be suspicious of your registration, you will NOT ever get in to the protected areas, whether you register once or thrity times. My requirements for registered users:
- A real/tracable email address. Emails from your internet service providers or ISP is fine. NO THROWAY/FREE ONLINE EMAIL ADDRESSES! I do check the email addresses, so please don’t waste my time by trying an uncommon throwaway account.
- A short sentence or two explaining who you are and how you found dixiblog. I’m sharing my personal life, so that seems like a reasonable request to me.
I probably won’t contact you and ask for these things if you don’t provide them. I could, but maybe not. Probably not. So contact me if you wanna. Otherwise, after a few days, I’ll just delete your registration.
Still wanna register?
