Dixie Vogel Tarot Reader Code of Ethics

Tarot Reading Code of Ethics

by Dixie on May 7, 2010

What to expect from a Tarot reading: my practices and personal philosophy regarding reading for clients.

  1. I provide the most honest, complete and objective reading possible within my scope of ability.
  2. I give clear information on fees beforeĀ  reading. Fees will not change unless we agree beforehand to expand the scope of the reading in some way, such as extending the time we talk.
  3. I do not address the same or very similar questions unless significant time has passed, and will not address the same question repeatedly in any event. I’ve found it’s simply not helpful. If you don’t like the outcome of a reading, direct your energy accordingly.
  4. I am a Tarot reader. As such, I am not qualified to give professional legal, medical, financial or psychiatric advice. If you need this type of support, please seek a qualified professional in the proper field.
  5. I will not do a reading specifically on a third party without their knowledge and consent. I encourage you to approach relationship issues from a personal perspective. Anything less is wasting a great opportunity.
  6. I will not tell you what to do, nor accept responsibility for your decisions. It’s your life–your choices. The future is fluid and it’s up to you to construct your own reality.
  7. I don’t consider Tarot reading to be “fortune telling.” Cards point to energies in action, trends and potentialities. It’s dynamic. While there are times when the cards will tend to predict a particular outcome or event, participants’ actions and free will are always factors.
  8. I respect my clients’ privacy. Your personal information and the content of your reading is absolutely confidential.
