- locate the image you want to use. Windows users can “right click” to see the image info. Select properties. Hold your left mouse button down and drag over the image location for copying.
- And you can use Control+C to copy, and Control+V to paste.
- click the tree icon on the elsa boards. paste the image url there.
- Holler if you have questions.

I’m not sure what you mean by “tree icon” on the board? I don’t see a tree icon. Help, please.
Kristl – Sorry – the video I used to have up isn’t here since I cleaned out my blog posts. I’ll have to go looking for it to see if I can dig it up. Will edit the post now to show the “Tree Icon” picture shortly…
Got a screenshot up for you, kristl!
Thanks so much. Will try again soon and see if I can get it to happen.
This is not working I have located the tree icon and paste the image url there but nothing shows up :(
if you put a link to the image (either here or on the boards where you want it), someone will try to help. some of the specific links can be tricky/buggy.
?…I’m not seeing the msg box that gives an option for html msgs..(as the illustration above) looks like a plain box. I have a picture/gif/jpeg of my chart, on my hard drive (photos saved) which I can use to transfer photos to Facebook, etc…& where I put the icon I uploaded, here, as my “Avatar” when it wouldn’t let me use my regular one, which is a bmp file; but guess I’m just not “getting the picture” here, yet, for some reason…or, where am I supposed to be to post my chart…? Thx..
Ok, now I’m getting really confused, I guess…where’d the strange green cat come from …in the Avatar position…I know I didn’t upload that & never saw him before now!…??
The avatar is automatic for this blog, something I set up for people who don’t have a gravatar to show next to their comments.
To use an image on Elsa’s site, it has to be online somewhere first. That’s where the location comes in, wherever you have stored it online. Elsa’s site does not have a set up for you to upload images there.
